judea desert

 

     a. North Judea desert - "The Holy City's desert" , Jerusalem,

         Ma'ale Adumim, old Kedar - in the form of a settlement as read about in

         the Bible, the lower water pit - the way water was collected and a look

         at the life of Bedouins, Jabal Muntar a viewon the north desert and

         Mount Azazel, ending at the Mishor Adumim gas station.

  • b. South Desert and Dead Sea –from the hotels, Mount Sdom - view of

  •     the Dead Sea and descriptions, Mishor Amiaz, Nachal Sdom - a ride

        through the winding canyon of Chawar Halashon, H’emar Wadi,

    where the Jewish people attempted to make a settlement at the end of

    the 19t century, Mizpeh Ofer, and the site of the Syrian diversion dam,

    Mazra’at Kanaf, Kinneret

b. Golani intersection, Mitzpeh Netufa – a beautiful site over the Bika’a,

    Ramna – crossing the Bika, Cana, Yodfat – the story of the fight

    against the Romans, similar to the fight  in Masada, Kaucab El’Hege –

    rock gardens, Shechnia.
